Adept. Available. Approachable.

We can offer appointments across the country and have contact with many support groups and services. We are experienced in representing clients who live or work abroad and can make arrangements to communicate by telephone, skype or email.

It is our ethos that all children and all families are important. Our approach to each client is the same – to offer high quality advice and representation in a sensitive manner.

We understand that advice at an early stage can make all the difference. Our fees are flexible, clear and straightforward. We will assess eligibility for legal aid where relevant.

Ensuring extra help for clients when they need it most

We firmly believe that client care goes beyond the Court room.

Our aim is to provide an all round holistic service where clients not only receive the best possible legal representation but also help accessing support to overcome the problems they face in their day to day lives.

Child Arrangements

When parents (married, unmarried or same sex) separate, consideration needs to be given to the arrangements for any children such as where and with whom they are going to live, whether they need to change school and how often they will see the other parent. These arrangements should be agreed between the parents wherever possible.

Child Abduction

Child abduction is a serious, but sometimes misunderstood, area of family law. Most people think it involves a stranger kidnapping a child. However, a mother taking her own child abroad for a short period of time and without the consent of the father, may actually be guilty of child abduction in the eyes of the family court.

Care Proceedings

If the Local Authority are worried about a Child’s welfare they can start “Care Proceedings”. Before taking this action the Local Authority will try where possible to keep children with their parents (or those with parental responsibility). We are Children Panel Accredited lawyers, we offer representation to pregnant mothers, parents, grandparents and children.

Child Adoption

The process of becoming an adoptive parent is particularly complex. We will advise and guide you through this process. By adopting a child you will be granted all the legal rights, duties and responsibilities a parent has in relation to their child, as though you were their parent from birth.

Child Protection

If the Local Authority, Police, or other professionals think your child may be at risk of significant harm they could take action. This action could be an investigation through to immediate removal of your child.

Domestic Abuse

Domestic abuse is any abuse that happens in a family or personal relationship, where one person bullies, threatens, hurts or controls the other. Domestic abuse affects both men and women and can be harmful to children.
